As a man, is probably not a very good idea to be too much into fashion and only wear clothes that are popular or trending without really considering if those clothes match your style or not. Just because a clothing article is trending and everybody is wearing it, this doesn’t necessarily mean that it will look good on every single person who wears it.
A few years ago lots of people were wearing those Beanie hats: indoors, outdoors, tv shows or podcasts, you couldn’t escape “the beanie”.
Some of the guys who wore it, they just looked weird and you couldn’t avoid asking yourself: “Why do you need to wear that? What use does it serve and why everyone is wearing the same thing now?
We are indoors, you’re wearing a t-shirt and skinny jeans and you have a beanie on your head. Something is definitely off here! Tomorrow if the fashionable thing to do will be to wear a sausage around your neck, you’re going to do that as well?”It’s more important to develop your own style and wear clothes that you like and in which you feel comfortable, making sure they fit well and look good on you.
Plus, copying everything that others do is never cool.Another common mistake is to think that simply because you buy something from a famous brand (usually paying a lot of money for it) that automatically will look very nice on you. There’s a lot to be talked about this subject because if you purchase something from “Gucci” let’s say, and it’s very ugly, but it has Gucci written all over it. Some people will say they like it simply because it has the name Gucci.
But if you remove the name and they don’t longer know who made it, the same people will say it’s ugly. So it’s important to know the difference between these two and choose to wear quality things that look and also feel good.
ARE SKINNY JEANS STILL IN STYLE?
Men always found tight-fitting trousers fashionable and there are many proofs of this dating all the way back to 1660s when tight breeches first became fashionable.
During the restoration era, the tighter breeches were introduced to England and the rest of Europe because the cut was deemed more flattering to the leg.One of the biggest celebrities, Elvis Presley wore slim fitting jeans back in 1950s and numerous rock bands and musicians from the 1960s like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones or Bob Dylan, preferred drainpipe jeans.
In 2008 the skinny jeans for men were introduced to the public and became the norm by 2009. They entered the mainstream fashion in 2011 and remained popular since then, becoming one of the decade’s defining fashion pieces.
Some like to say they’re out of style starting from 2020 and it’s true that people don’t wear them as much like they used to, and this is not necessarily a bad thing. There was a time when everyone was wearing skinny jeans, even those who don’t have any business in wearing something like this.
Now skinny jeans represent just a option in your drawer and if you choose to wear them, that’s perfectly fine. No one will stare, laugh or point fingers.Skinny jeans are still in style if worn correctly, and here we’re talking about specially the classic ones, the super skinny jeans are a bit too much and they should be avoided by most men these days.
It’s not very pleasant for the eye to see a fully grown man wearing something that tight on him, it just doesn’t look good.If you’re fit and you know how to choose the right pair of skinny jeans (not to tight on the leg) there’s really no problem in wearing them in 2022. Many find skinny jeans very comfortable to wear and it’s a style that is not going away any time soon.
It is also important to have some diversity in your wardrobe and not really on just one or two types of clothing articles. Even though it’s still ok to wear skinny jeans regardless of what anyone says, if you wear just this every day, it might be a little too much.
Having options is good and depending on the occasion, you can choose to wear: joggers, slim fit pants, tracksuit bottoms, regular jeans, chinos, corduroy, relaxed fit trousers and many more other types of pants designed for men.
It is said that fashion trends circle back every two decades. Just twenty years are enough time for a trend to become popular, slowly fade away for long enough to be forgotten, and return again under a new interpretation.
We live different times now than 50 – 70 years ago, the rise of the internet and social media changed things a bit and tight fitting clothes that complement a nice body are not going away that easily. Skinny jeans are not as popular like they used to be a few years ago but they’re still in the top of people’s preferences.

We have UFC 278 this Sunday and we’ll only focus on the 3 most interesting fights on the card:
Kamaru Usman vs Leon Edwards
Paolo Costa vs Luke Rockhold
Jose Aldo vs Merab DvalishviliKamaru Usman vs Leon Edwards 2
Not very many people are curious to see this fight. There is no excitement around it as we all know how their first fight went.
Usman beat Edwards decisively in 2015 and if he was able to dominate him even 7 years ago and win the decision, now when his striking is on a very high level as well, how does Edwards really stand a chance?
Of course, it’s fighting and anything can happen. Leon can land a lucky punch and knock Usman out. This is very unlikely to happen because Usman is the champion for a reason. He’s coming after a decisive win over Colby Covington, arguably his toughest adversary so far and we don’t really know who can beat him at this point.
Usman is basically still in his prime, he has the wrestling advantage, his striking is now very good as well and we can expect another dominant performance from the champion.
Paolo Costa vs Luke Rockhold
Both fighters really need the win, they’re both coming off two loses and they really need to win this one.
For Luke Rockhold if he loses, it could be his last fight in the UFC. He is 37 and he already achieved everything he wanted in this sport. Another loss would just mean that even if he still wants’ it and enjoys to compete, his body just can’t do the things it used to do.
It’s very difficult to predict who’s going to win this fight. They’re both very spectacular and unpredictable fighters and either one can be the winner.
Costa is the favourite to win because he is much younger, he’s saying that he is in his prime now, and wouldn’t really surprise anyone if he got the win.Rockhold has been in some wars during his long mma career and we’ve seen lately that when he’s “touched'”, he usually doesn’t recover very well.
Probably it’s going to be a very entertaining and explosive fight and Rockhold does have a chance if he’s not hit with anything big in the first two rounds. He is quite capable to land something big on Costa and get a sensational win.
Jose Aldo vs Merab Dvalishvili
We all know Jose Aldo is a legend in this sport. You can just take a look at his resume and see how many fights he had and how many top fighters he beat. Specially in his incredible run from 2006 to 2014.
He was undefeated for 8 years and for a long time he was considered to be the greatest featherweight of all time.
Jose Aldo lost some momentum after the fight with Conor Mcgregor in 2015, winning 6 fights and losing 5 since then.He is still a dangerous fighter and looked very good in his last 3 fights, which he won.
His opponent, Merab Dvalishvili is a 31 years old Georgian, he’s been undefeated since 2018 and he managed a TKO win against Marlon Moraes in his last fight.
He is not very known to the general public and this is the most important fight he had so far. He is facing a true legend and probably it’s going to be a very fun fight to watch.Everyone knows that Aldo is a very skilled and durable fighter. It will be interesting to see how he approaches this fight and if he will manage to beat Dvalishvili he will probably be in the talks for a title fight next.
It’s not a easy fight for Aldo, he will have to bring his A game in order to win.As for Dvalishvili, if he beats Aldo he will secure a 8 fights win strike. He is number 6 now and with a win over Aldo he will be in the top 5 Bantamweight fighters in the world.

Starting a blog in theory doesn’t seem to be that hard. Everybody has Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and a lot of people post things online. So how hard could it be to create a blog and post things that you like there?
I’m here to say that contrary to what people will tell you online, starting a blog can present some challenges, specially if you’re totally new to this.
Creating the blog and publishing your first post is one part of the story. The other one is managing the site and trying to post regularly.
Recently I had some issues with my site, in the sense that I couldn’t reach it anymore. This problem lasted for 3-4 days and there were times when I thought I’ll never see it fixed again. Hours and hours were spent talking to the suport team.
I’ve talked to probably 20 different persons from Bluehost and most of them only managed to fix the problem momentarily. The site would work for an hour or two and after that crash again.
It was very frustrating and time consuming all of this. At one point I was considering closing the site and continue to focus more on the other projects that I have.
After 3 long days, one person from Bluehost managed to finally solve the problem and now the site is working fine. I still have that fear it could crash in any moment. I know that they fixed it and it’s ok now but probably some time needs to pass so I can forget about this horrible experience.
I wasn’t expecting all of this when I started. In my mind I thought that I will only focus on things to post and how to grow my blog.
Spending 3 long days trying to get the site back working wasn’t part of the plan.Another important aspect worth mentioning is that writing articles for this blog takes more time than expected.
Planning a subject and after that finding the right words to put it in writing takes time.
I don’t know if is the same for everybody, but for me it can take a day or two to finish a single blog post. Sometimes I spend even more than two days on a post.
My goal is to get to a level when I can write 2-3 articles a day.
Now, before you say that writing a article is not that difficult, I need to mention that if I had the whole day just for this I would probably be able to write 3 posts even now( it’s difficult but I belive I could do it). The problem is that I’m doing many other things during the day one of them being the fact that I still have a 12,5 hours/day job.It’s important for me to get to a level of writing, that when I have 40 minutes or an hour available, that’s all I need to write the article. I’m not quite there yet but I’m working on it.
This blogging adventure was planned as a 5 step process, this now being step 1. In a month or so, I believe it will be ready to begin step two.
Right now is important to be consistent and create as much content as possible, of course maintaining the normal quality of the site.
I didn’t think it’s going to be easy, so I’m prepared and ready to put in the work. It is exhausting at times and requires your full dedication, but in my mind there is not a single doubt that I will succeed in the end.Better time management is something that I have to work on.
I’ve always been quite good in managing my time and I never had any issues with it. At this point, considering the ammount of work and the large number of projects I have, time is beginning to be a problem. I have to plan my time to perfection so I can get as many things done in a day as possible.
It’s a work in progress and is not always perfect. The main focus points are to continue to improve each day and to develop new and healthy habits that can get me closer to my objectives.
