Conor Mcgregor vs Floyd Mayweather Part Two

There have been many rumours about this for quite a while and it seems like both want it.
Floyd Mayweather is one of best boxers of all time and certainly the best of his generation.

Conor on the other hand, changed MMA forever. His charismatic personality, talent on the microphone and of course his accomplishments inside the octagon made him the superstar he is today.

The only problem is that we already know how this goes. We’ve seen it already on 26th of August 2017 and a rematch is nothing more than a way for them to make more money.

Nobody in his right mind wants to see that fight again. The first time, not that people believed Conor can beat Floyd, but they wanted to see how he does against a great boxer. And he did pretty well, probably if he decided to follow a boxing career he would have been world champion.
It’s not a shame to be beaten by Floyd, he beat everyone and it’s hard to show your true potential against someone like him.

Let’s say that they fight again and Conor beats Floyd, this still wouldn’t be relevant at all. Floyd is 45 years old now, and even in his last exhibition fights you could see that unfortunately time doesn’t forgive anyone. In this game, and most probably Floyd knows it also: if you stay too long, eventually you will be beat.

After their first fight we learned two things:

1. Floyd is a real master of the sport and in his illustrious career he’s beaten some former world champions worse than he beat Mcgregor.

2. Conor did much better than most expected but if they fight 20 time, Floyd wins every single fight. This is not because Conor is an unskilled boxer. It’s because Floyd is one of the best boxers in history.

Due to the fact they are both huge superstars, either one could fight a 60 years old bus driver and probably they would do decent numbers with the tickets sale and Pay-Per-Views buys. It wouldn’t come close to their first fight but it would do ok.

This boxing match between them doesn’t have any purpose or meaning. It’s only a way for them to make some money. No real fan of boxing would want to see Floyd Mayweather box let’s say a top ranked boxer. What do you think Canelo would do to him if they were to fight again?

Floyd is truly special and was the best this generation has had but he is 45 years old now and his body can’t do what it used to do 10 years ago. We just have to accept it and move on.

Even Conor, if let’s say he would beat Floyd this time, what positive things would he take from this? Would he be happy because he beat a 45 years old man? Could he have beaten him 10-15 years ago? Probably not.

They both should focus on other things and let this fight go. They have money, people love them. This fight doesn’t mean anything and nobody is really interested in seeing Conor Mcgregor Vs Floyd Mayweather part two.
