Smoking is very bad, we all know it and you don’t need to be a scientist or a genius to know that inhaling some thick smoke inside your lungs, sooner or later is going to be detrimental to your health.
Most of us realise how unhealthy smoking is and despite this we find giving up cigarettes to be very challenging. The reason is not only because smokers get addicted to nicotine. It is also a psychological issue because the majority of people that smoke, enjoy the process of smoking a cigar, they believe it calms them and also deep down, they think it makes them look more interesting.
Like in the case of any addiction, giving up smoking is difficult and an important percent of the people that smoke, never manage to quit. They try all the recomanded methods and nothing works for them.
The vast majority of them understand that smoking is bad, in some cases maybe already caused some health problems. They just can’t quit because they enjoy it too much, it had become a habit, a part of their routine that can’t be replaced by anything else. Some manage to quit for a week or two, in some cases even 3-4 months and after they start smoking again.
The best way to give up smoking
Even though most smokers realise that smoking is bad for their health and quitting this addiction is the best solution, something is still preventing them from being able to quit and never start again.
These are some of best stop smoking treatments and they are know to work in some cases:
1. Nicotine replacement
Studies show that it doubles the quit-rate. There are many forms of nicotine replacements and we can enumerate only a few: patches, gum, nasal spray or a inhaler.
2. Varenicline (Champix)
Is a pill that does not contain nicotine and it works by stimulating the same parts of the brain as the nicotine. This way, the nicotine that comes from a cigarette will have very little effect because the varenicline is already there.
3. Bupropion (Ziban)
Is a medicine originally designed to treat depression and has been found to help people quit smoking. It is not clear exactly how it works and it’s thought to have an effect on the parts of the brain involved in addictive behaviour.
4. E-cigarettes
We all know them, are those electronic devices that imitate cigarettes. They deliver nicotine in a vapour, allowing you to inhale only the nicotine without most of the harmful substances as tar or carbon monoxide.
The best way to give up smoking and not a lot of people know about it, is this one:
Take a bit of time to meditate and reflect, be honest with yourself, try to open up and see how you really feel about this. Check why deep down in your subconscious you find it difficult to beat this addiction, and if you are completely honest and look deep enough, you will find the reason or reasons. Then all it’s left to do is to fix the problem and make a serious commitment to yourself that you will quit smoking for good. By doing this, you minimise the risk of self sabotage and have much better chances to quit cigarettes and never look back.
If you feel that you can’t do all this by your self, asking for professional support is always a good idea and can improve your chances of quitting.
We can achieve anything we want in life, this is not just a saying, it’s the truth and all it takes is to believe and do everything that depends on us to succeed.
If you decide you want to be a doctor and start following this path with determination and perseverance, you will become a doctor. Or if you decide you want to learn how to paint and dedicate your entire time to it, after a while you will be able to paint beautiful paintings.
The same when you decide to quit smoking and you’re firm and strong-willed, smoking doesn’t stand a chance. Combine this with one of the Stop smoking treatments mentioned earlier and soon smoking is going to be just a distant memory.Manchester United is definitely one of the biggest clubs in the world, in 2019 positioned itself as the world’s third most valuable football club, being worth an impressive £3.15 billion($3.81 billion). In 2016-2017 was the highest earning football club in the world, with a annual revenue of €676.3 milion.
It is also one of the most successful clubs in Europe in terms of trophies, they managed to win a record of 20 top-division titles since 1889. They won the FA Cup 12 times and are only surpassed by Arsenal who won it 13 times.
Internationally, they won the European Cup/UEFA Champions League three times, and the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup once each.THE MANCHESTER UNITED DILEMMA
Manchester United has millions of fans all around the world and in the recent years they didn’t have to many reasons to be happy, their team being just a shell of the team that was dominating Premier league 10-15 years ago.
There are some important problems that the club has and it seems that nobody it’s taking responsibility for them. Probably if you were to ask any Man United fan, they would be able to identify them easily and offer a few pertinent solutions.
Ever since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013, they just weren’t able to adjust and bring the suitable players or coaches to ensure that the team continues to be a force in the Premier league and in Europe.
What’s interesting is that they spent a lot of money each season, so it’s not a problem of not having money to buy the best players. It is more a problem of not having a reliable and well thought strategy to buy the best players that fit the Man United profile.
Who plans the transfers and how they decide which players they need?
There are a lot of talented players everywhere and it’s easy to buy the ones you like most. At a club as big as Manchester United, things should stay a bit different and a very smart strategy should be in place to ensure they bring players that can rise to the occasion and are able to perform at a club of this calibre.
Who ever is dealing with bringing new players should be replaced, if he wasn’t already and the management needs to find a “mastermind” that can plan and supervise all transfers. A person with great experience and knowledge that can create a strategy for the years to come. Right now, they just seem to buy random players and pay a lot of money for them also.Manchester United didn’t managed very well the transition period after Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement and failed to bring a capable manager that could fill the whole left by the legendary coach.
You need to have a vision and to know football when you’re taking this tipe of decisions that affect the entire outcome of how team will express itself in the future, if you do it wrong, you’ll have what’s happening now with the team.
For example look what a talented manager like Klopp managed to do with Liverpool in a few years and they don’t have nearly as much money as United.
The only capable manager manager that they managed to bring after Ferguson is Mourinho in 2016 and it seemed like he had to deal with some players that didn’t belong there.
He still won the UEFA Cup in 2017, which is the first one in Man United’s entire history and proves once again that he really is a “special one”.
Things didn’t go his way and was sacked by United in 2018 and this proves that sometimes it’s not enough to be the best manager, you got to have a few top players that can “carry” the team trough tough times.
A key element in making sure you sign the right football players is to look not only on how talented they are. To play at this level they need to have more than just their talent.
An example of a good method of selecting the right players and probably a lot of clubs use it, is this one:
After you made a list of 20-30 “talented” players ( the number can be lower or higher, doesn’t matter), it’s then time to analyse which ones are the alpha males, have the highest IQ, are the most physically gifted, which ones are the most disciplined and driven. In the end you’re left with 4-5 players that fit the profile and this ones have extremely high chances of confirming the expectations and making an impact on the team.
From all the players that Manchester United has, only a few fit this profile:1. David de Gea – excellent goalkeeper, one of the best in the world.
2. Bruno Fernandes – very good midfielder, a proper playmaker.
3. Carlos Henrique Casimiro, known as Casemiro – he proved what kind of a football player he is in the years spent at Real Madrid.
4. Lisandro Martínez – keep an eye on this one, he will be one of the leaders of the team in a few years and a fans’ favourite.
5. Scott Francis McTominay – he is a good midfielder and with a bit of confidence from his coaches and a injuries free couple of seasons, he can make a good impact on the team’s performances.
6. Antony Matheus dos Santos, simply known as Antony – great winger with a lot of potential.
7. Cristiano Ronaldo ( 7th position isn’t randomly chosen and is ment as a homage to one of the greatest footballers to ever play the game)
The reason why he is not scoring a lot of goals like in the previous season isn’t related to his age like some say and are more a series of events that influence his performance on the pitch: the death of his child, Manchester United failing to qualify for Champions league and him wanting to leave, the fact that his coach doesn’t know how to handle a big superstar and treats him like any 37 years old player.
The current manager
The new Dutch manager that is in charge of Manchester United at the moment hasn’t really proved too many good things since he came, and are some concerns about the fact if he can manage such a big club.
Looking at how they choose their managers and players, things are not going to get better for Man Utd any time soon. There are clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool or Chelsea, who do a far better job than them.
Bitcoin, the most know and valuable cryptocurrency in the world that operates free of any central control and doesn’t really on banks or governments, is dealing with a big decline in 2022 despite being worth an impressive $69,000 at the beginning of the year.
The digital currencie know as Bitcoin was created as a way for people to send and recive money over the internet without any intermediaries has come across an important rise in the recent years.
Of course the number one question is: Will Bitcoin be able to recover and surpass the $100,000 mark or it will go down even more.
At this precise time: 17:03, 5 of October 2022, Bitcoin costs 17,762.09GBP, that means 19,968.30USD and the danger here is that if it reaches £7000-£8000, there’s a risk for Bitcoin to collapse entirely and with it probably most of the cryptocurrencies.
Nobody really knows what will happen next and we can only try to do a logical analysis based on facts that we know already:
1. Bitcoin had periods like this in the past when after a big rise, a downfall followed.
2. This time it’s a bit different because we’re confronting with a world crisis, mostly because of the war in Ukraine.
3. If it’s going to recover, that will not happen any time soon.
4. The hopes of the people who have their money invested in it are focused on Bitcoin not falling even more.
5. The general perception is that sooner or later the cryptocurrencies market will recover.
6. If Bitcoin collapses, it might drag down the entire crypto world with it.
7. The confidence of the public in cryptocurrencies it’s not where it used to be. You cannot trust something so volatile and risk losing all your money.
8. For some reason, people seem to believe Bitcoin will recover in 2023, the same people also thought it will surpass $100 000 this year.
At the end of the day we just need to look at how we as humans really are and where were we 1000-2000 years ago.
It’s true that we evolved but we haven’t changed completely. Back then we used to trade things like meat, weapons, spices or metals. All these are physical goods, which means they can be physically touched and acquired to satisfy needs and desires.Bitcoin doesn’t have any of that and on top of it all it’s extremely volatile and the value of it could go up or down at any time.
Maybe some people are really into technology and that explains why they would put money into it. As for the rest of us, it’s hard to put our trust in something like cryptocurrencies after seeing how Bitcoin went from $69,000 to 17,000 in just a couple of months.
If you think about it, real money is what’s really behind cryptocurrencies, if we take the real money out of the equation, cryptocurrencies would be pretty much worthless.
A wiser decision would probably be to invest money in something less risky because with crypto things can go wrong in any moment. When trading cryptocurrencies you can do everything right and the next day something unexpected happens and the prices can drop exponentially. Basically you can go to bed a rich man and wake up poor.
There aren’t too many articles on Google saying what can also happen when investing in cryptocurrencies. Many people lost their money trading Bitcoin, Ethereum or other digital currencies and all this so called “experts” are saying how wonderful Bitcoin is and how is the future.
We’re going to shed some light on the matter concerning the mass adoption of Bitcoin and why so many people started investing in cryptocurrencies in the recent years.
The only reason why all this attention was focused on cryptocurrencies lately is because of the chance of making a lot of money fast.
It’s not because people think “it is the future” or because they believe in the project. They just saw a opportunity of making quick money and went for it.Unfortunately nobody told them to treat this more like a gamble than a reliable investment and many lost their money in the process.
The confidence of the general population in digital currencies, despite what you might think, it’s not that height and what recently happened to Bitcoin and the rest of cryptocurrencies didn’t helped making them more popular at all.
It will definitely be interesting to see how the world’s largest cryptocurrency reacts to the upcoming global recession and how much will be worth in 2-3 years.
Nobody knows what will happen in the near future and we need to do our research properly and be aware of everything that is going on when intending to invest in crypto.
Totally out of this context: does anyone else hates the word “bullish”? What a annoying word this can be.
Don’t ever trust a grown man who uses “bullish” when they’re talking about cryptocurrencies, haha 😂.* This is definitely not financial advice and are only the opinions of a person. Do your own research and don’t take anything you read here as a recommendation or investment guidance.

We’re going to start this post by sprinkling a bit of knowledge:
The first woman in history that drove a car over a long distance was Bertha Ringer, better known as Bertha Benz, the wife of Karl Benz, the founder of Mercedes Benz along with German engineer Gottlieb Daimler.
In 1888 Bertha Benz set a Guinness world record by driving a vehicle known as Benz Patent-Motorwagen for 106 km. Accompanied by her two sons, she drove from Mannheim city, her residence to Pforzheim where she was born.
Bertha took the car from the garage without Karl’s knowledge because he didn’t like to brag about his creations. Back then any carriage that was not pulled by a horse was considered “the work of sorcery and witchcraft”
According to some sources, Bertha spent three days in Pforzheim with her family and the car quickly became known, people calling it a miracle.CAN WOMEN REALLY DRIVE?
This question has been around for some time and there are a lot of jokes and funny stories about how bad women drive cars.
To answer this question, we have to keep in mind that to be good at anything, you have to like it, to be passionate about it.
Men love cars, they like driving them, they spend time to repair them and to learn what each part does and how everything works together. They also talk about cars all the time and it’s just more in their nature to be attracted to mechanical things.
Women on the other hand, the majority of them don’t enjoy driving that much, they don’t care about the car’s performance, how much horse power it’s got or if it’s petrol or diesel. They drive a car just because they need to go from point A to point B and that’s it.
The argument that women are not good at driving it’s not the whole story, it’s just like saying they are not good at football.
Of course they’re not, because they don’t like football, they don’t watch it or pay any attention to it.Also it would be wrong to say that all women can’t drive, because this is just not true, there are plenty of women out there that drive very well, some women drive trucks, tractors, bulldozers, buses or ambulances.
We all seen videos with ladies that don’t know how to park or do a mistake in traffic and we just need to keep in mind that these are exceptions and those ladies usually had a reason for what happened and it’s usually related with the lack of experience.
Let’s do a quick exercise: let’s imagine a women that is very passionate about cars, she likes driving very much and wants to know everything there is about cars (and by the way, there are many women like that out there). The chances of this woman being a good driver are very high because if you put time and effort in something you like, sooner or later, you are going to be good at it.
We’re not even going to insist too much on the fact that statistically men are more likely to to be involved in car crashes because of bad driving habits than women.
Studies show that men are twice as likely to be involved in a collision due to poor behaviour, inexperience, carelessness or being in a hurry.
Most of us know make fun sometimes of our girlfriend, wife or just a female friend because she doesn’t know how to drive and as long as we’re just teasing them, that’s ok. The problem is when you’re saying that “all women can’t drive” and you are serious about it, that’s just not true and it can be easily proven.
A fact not known by too many people is that women used to compete in Formula1. Lella Lombardi is the last female driver to ever take part in a F1 event. She drove her Brabham-Ford at the Austrian Grand Prix in 1976 and managed to finish 12th.
There have been efforts in the recent years to encourage and find female talent that can compete in Formula1 and the most recent female appearances have been confined to practice sessions or failure to qualify.
One of the reasons why there are not more female drivers in motorsport is that 99% of the kids who chose to follow a path in this direction are males. You don’t see to many litle girls that want to be a F1 driver when they grow up.
To answer to our question once and for all: Can women drive?
The answer is yes, they can drive cars very well. If you think otherwise, you need to wake up, you’re not in 1920.
